Cornwall Refrigerated Transport Services (CRTS) Ltd is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
From humble beginnings, MD Tim Edwards started the company, operating from an ex-BT van converted into a mobile engineering workshop, with a small stockroom in his garage at home. The business has now grown to a team of 12 engineers and office staff, operating from a large purpose-built workshop in Bodmin.
Edwards said: “I am extremely proud of what we have achieved over the past 25 years, continuing to support and grow with our customers across Devon and Cornwall – many of whom have been with us from the very beginning.”
He added: “Looking to the future and as I gradually head towards retirement over the next four years or so, I am pleased to be able to hand the reins over to my daughter, Charlotte, who has worked for the company for the past ten years and knows it inside out.
“With support from our fantastic senior engineering team, I am confident that when I decide to retire, the business will be in capable hands for our customers – taking our family business into the next 25 years and beyond.”
