Cornwall Services on the A30 is set to reopen to the public next week.

Operating with strict safety measures, the main services building will open its doors to the public in phases beginning on Monday (June 1) with Subway and WC Rowe. Open Oven Pizza will open on June 3 and Salt Rock, Mango Surf, and McDonald’s are planning to open in mid-June. Costa and WH Smith do not have confirmed dates for re-opening as yet.

Indoor Active and Teddy Freddy’s Barbers will not re-open until further Government instruction and when both businesses can ensure the safety of their customers and employees.

For maximum customer safety, all food outlets will only be providing a takeaway service. Customers will be asked to take their food and drink out of the main building. In order to manage the volume of customers using the services at any one time, there will be a team of staff on hand to help and direct people to the correct queuing system as part of limiting movement between shops and food outlets. Staff will also direct customers to the lorry park toilet block if they only want to use the toilet facilities.

Site manager, Alex Lawson, said: “It is good to be re-opening and we thank everyone for their patience and support.  We’ve been working very hard behind the scenes to make sure we are taking every precaution needed to give our customers the safest experience and we look forward to welcoming everyone back through our doors.”
