Cornwall Chamber of Commerce’s first event of the year will feature a presentation from one of Gatwick Airport’s senior advisors.
The organisation’s January Big Breakfast will be held at Penventon Park Hotel on Tuesday, January 20, where Alex Kirby, senior advisor for Gatwick Airport, will give a presentation entitled: ‘The future of aviation – connecting Britain to the future, faster’.
Chamber chief executive, Kim Conchie, said: “Newquay Airport has just commenced its four year Public Service Obligation subsidised and guaranteed flights to Gatwick three times per day.
“This, then, is a perfect moment for the Gatwick communications team to be coming to Cornwall to let us know what their long term solution to regional connectivity is as we have time to study and analyse the long term impact.”
