Ryanair back at Newquay

Ryanair has resumed operating out of Newquay Airport, three months after withdrawing in protest at the airport’s temporary closure.

At the time Ryanair branded the airport’s owners – Cornwall County Council – “Keystone cops”, after failing to secure an aviation licence in time following the handover from the RAF.

Ryanair attracted much criticism itself last week after admitting it is considering charging for the use of its toilets on flights.
