Gylly Beach Café has gone on the market with a guide price in excess of £3.5 million.

The facility, on Falmouth’s Gyllyngvase beach, is being offered as one package and comprises café with indoor and outdoor covers and two flats available as freehold, with a separate bakery and takeaway on leasehold.

Acting on behalf of the long-term owner, commercial agent Vickery Holman is running a marketing process with a call for bids at the end of June.

Michael Easton at Vickery Holman commented: “Gylly Beach Café is a world-class location and over the twenty plus years that our clients have owned it, they have created a popular and year-round business.

“There are many complimentary facets to the business with the main site being a rare beachside freehold including a licenced restaurant, deck, plus two first floor apartments and offices.

“In addition, our clients hold the lease for the takeaway and bakery next door, providing produce for the restaurant itself and having the trading rights over the beach itself. The popular Gylly water sports business is run from a self-contained investment including in the sale.”

A guide price of offers in excess of £3.5 million is being sought and bid date is Friday June 30.
