A Cornish jewellery business has been given top position in the Jewellery Ethical Ratings, recently published by The Good Shopping Guide.
The Good Shopping Guide published its rankings on 18 brands in the Jewellery sector for the first time ever. Scores out of 100 were given, based on an assessment of the companies’ practices towards the environment, animals and people.
Truro-based Ethica Diamonds, along with London jewellery store Ingle & Rhode, came out on top with a maximum 100.
The top score was mainly due to the brands’ use of Fairtrade certified gold and ethically sourced, conflict-free diamonds in their products.
Both Ingle & Rhode and Ethica Diamonds have been endorsed by The Good Shopping Guide with Ethical Accreditation – verifying their high ethical standards.
