Visit Truro launches digital campaign

Visit Truro will be running the What’s in the Window campaign via its social media channels from Friday November 12.

The What’s in the Window campaign gives users Christmas shopping inspiration and highlights what type of gifts are available in independent businesses across the city.

The digital campaign ran for the first time last year during the winter lockdown.

It showcased a range of gifts that were available to buy online from independent retailers, who had to close due to the Covid-19 restrictions.

It also encouraged people to return to the shops when they reopened in December, which is a similar aim to this year’s campaign.

Abi Steel from Visit Truro said: “The campaign was a huge success last year and was a great help to businesses during the lockdown. We hope to build on the success this year and look forward to seeing people in the shops once again.”
