White River Place Shopping Centre has once again teamed up with the St Austell Business Improvement District to entice shoppers into town in the run-up to Christmas.

Live music, dance shows, visits from popular children’s TV characters and real life reindeer accompanying Santa are just some of entertainments on offer during the late-night shopping events being laid on in St Austell this Christmas.

Kicking off with the official switch-on of the town’s Christmas lights on November 29, every Tuesday will feature entertainment and late-night shopping, together with free parking at White River Place and Priory car parks after 4pm.

Richard Hurst, manager of White River Place Shopping Centre, said: “Last year, we worked closely with the St Austell BID team to organise the biggest-ever Christmas programme and it was a huge success with people flooding into St Austell to enjoy great family entertainments and do their Christmas shopping in a welcoming atmosphere.

“We’re bringing back some of the most popular entertainers from last year including Jingle All the Way, along with some new special guests, some of whom will be very familiar to fans of the children’s TV show Paw Patrol, and aim to make Christmas 2016 even more fun for everyone coming into town to enjoy the festive atmosphere.”
