Cornish bakery Pasty Presto has unveiled a new look for its chain of 29 shops across the UK.
The new branding was created by Truro-based agency Absolute “to encapsulate the popular pastry’s authenticity and provenance with an innovate, modern day twist”.
There is also a new strapline for the business – ‘baked before the seagulls wake’.
The new brand will be rolled out across all outlets over the next four months as part of an ongoing strategic growth plan for the company.
Steve Grocutt, owner and founder of Pasty Presto, said: “Our rebrand is not only about the taste of Cornwall and our award-winning authentic Cornish Pasties, it’s about the whole Cornish experience and lifestyle. Our rebrand ensures that our customers enjoy a slice of this special county as soon as they step through the door.”
He added: “It was extremely important for us to use Cornish designers as we wanted to ensure that the new brand, and our interiors, truly reflect the new Cornwall – not a stereotyped or clichéd version of the place of our company birth.
“We’re really pleased with the results, which are already driving higher sales in our pilot shops, and are looking forward to seeing all of our stores sporting the new look.”
