Powells Garage in Redruth has been shortlisted for the Motor Trader Independent Garage of the Year Award 2013.
“We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted,” said Heather Powell, whose husband’s family has owned and run the garage business for the past 60 years.
“We won the award in 2006 but there have been several years since then when the category wasn’t included. It was reinstated two years ago but our move to a new site at Barncoose meant that we weren’t ready to enter then.”
Powells will discover whether it has been successful at a ceremony to be held in London next month.
