Lewsey Lou’s promises to bring fresh, quality Cornish fish and chips to the beach end of the village, and is the venture of rugby world cup winner and acting Cornish Pirates CEO, Josh Lewsey, and Lou Treseder, landlady of the Driftwood Spars.

She said: “We are really excited to be opening Lewsey Lou’s in a matter of weeks. It suddenly feels very real now.

“Fish and chips on the beach is a quintessentially British tradition and there is nothing down this end of the village that caters for the take-away market.

“We are passionate about the local community and our plan is to serve fresh, locally caught fish with Cornish potatoes.”

Lewsey added: “As Lou says, it is very early days, but I am delighted to hear that the local community are behind another ethical business in St Agnes.”

Lewsey Lou’s is looking to recruit staff who are as passionate about fish and chips as they are.
