A celebration of spring fashion takes place in Truro over the bank holiday weekend as more than 20 businesses in the city join forces.
Truro Trend, supported by the city’s Business Improvement District, brings together both independent retailers with national stores.
Running from Thursday, May 3 to Monday, May 7, various events will be taking place including fashion shows, makeovers, treasure hunts and special promotions.
Participating businesses include New Look, Monsoon, Uneeka, TK Maxx, Debenhams, Impact Model Agency, The Salon, Boots, Inkfish, Truro College, Weird Fish, Joules and Blushhh.
Neil Scott, BID manager for Totally Truro, said: “Fashion stores play a huge part in our colourful retail scene in Truro and alongside our cultural festivals, we wanted to support these shops with a spring fashion event.
“The best thing about Truro Trend is that the independent and larger chains work together – it’s this mixture of the two that makes the city so popular for shoppers.”
