Launching the new voucher app at the Retallack Resort, are the Voucher Tree team (l-r) Rebecca Morton, Rachel Lehnhoff, Scott Lehnhoff and Hayley Hepworth.

The team behind a Cornish print management company has diversified into new technology by publishing a smart phone app through iTunes.

Voucher Tree is the brainchild of husband and wife, Scott and Rachel Lehnhoff, and their team, which is part of Launceston-based Branch Media Ltd.

The app is available to download now, offering discounts and special offers at a range of shops, restaurants, tourist attractions and businesses around Cornwall.

The team, who hope to achieve 200,000 downloads over the next 12 months, have already seen 5,000 downloads since the apps soft-launch in June.

Scott Lehnhoff, managing director of Voucher Tree, said: “This app is perfect for Cornwall because we have a keen audience of residents and visitors who are looking for special offers and to save money.

“We know that price is becoming a barrier to consumers getting out and about and enjoying what our county has to offer.”

Among the businesses currently signed up and promoting offers through Voucher Tree are Flambards, Cornwall’s Crealy Adventure Park, Hustyns Leisure, Tony Pryce Sports, Wipeout Surf Clothing, Country Skittles near Hayle, Raze the Roof in Penryn and the Hall for Cornwall.
