Vehicle repair specialist Falmouth Coachworks Ltd has been re-appointed Cornwall’s only BMW-approved body and paint shop centre with a successful audit after its first five years in the role.

The original appointment came when Ocean BMW Falmouth closed its own body shop and began directing all such requirements to Falmouth Coachworks.

The company secured this recognition after successfully completing a lengthy and rigorous application process. Now it has invested a further £20k in new equipment and ongoing training programmes to ensure that it meets the very latest exacting requirements from BMW.

“The re-application process is no less rigorous and we have had to demonstrate very clearly that we have made all the necessary investment in keeping up to speed with BMW’s constantly upgraded techniques and standards,” said Falmouth Coachworks director Janette Kessell.

“BMW is one of the greatest names of them all in the motoring world and is uniquely recognised for its quality of repair and level of customer services. As an approved centre, we can repair a BMW to its original factory condition, working exclusively to BMW standards.”

Recent investment by Falmouth Coachworks has included a 30% increase in working bay capacity and the installation of a state of the art new paint oven.
