Welcoming members’ endorsement of Kerr’s appointment at today’s meeting of the full council, leader John Pollard said: “Andrew Kerr is an experienced chief executive who impressed members with his clarity and understanding of the challenges the future holds both for Cornwall and the Council.

Paul Masters will remain as the Council’s interim chief executive until Kerr joins the Council in January, at which time he will revert to his role as assistant chief executive.
