The Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has launched a new website to provide a virtual ‘one stop shop’ for all aspects of business support.
Business Pulse brings together all the services that can support businesses in one place – whether it is in starting-up, growing a business, employing more people or just running a business day-to-day.
Launching the new website Simon Tregoning, LEP board member responsible for business support, said: “Our European funding programmes have created a strong and varied community of business support providers in the region and one of the key priorities of the LEP has been to make it easier for all businesses to take advantage of this investment.
“A number of businesses said they had found it difficult to access information about the support which is available to help them. This new website will provide the quickest route to the people and organisations which can help them develop their businesses and I am delighted that the LEP has led this initiative.”
The website has been developed with the assistance of officers from Cornwall Council working in partnership with Penryn-based, Sea Communications, which has designed the new portal.
It is just a shame that all of these solutions are provided by or funded and controlled by the public sector. Our research clearly shows that there is a desire for business to business support.
