Tomorrow, Business Cornwall will begin a new partnership with Cornwall Council, offering our readers an alternate place to view live video of major council meetings.
We start tomorrow with a full council meeting which will cover the much discussed stadium for Cornwall as well as other points pertinent to Cornish business and the development of the local economy.
The proposed Stadium for Cornwall project has been dogged by controversy, with the Council long-holding the position that no public money will be spent in its construction.
However, stakeholders behind the £15M project (Truro and Penwith College, Inox Group, and Cornish Pirates RFC) have now said that despite their best efforts, they cannot raise the money themselves and are seeking Council help.
The Council’s ruling cabinet are believed to be sympathetic to the idea of using public money, but many local councillors are opposed, given the current economic climate.
Keep an eye on Business Cornwall tomorrow for our live video stream which will go out as a standard story and on all our social media channels.
