The Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) has received a further £4 million in Government funding for advanced manufacturing.
The funding is in addition to the £4 million announced for low sarbon last week, and is expected to make a significant increase in MAS’ ability to support manufacturers across the UK in these challenging times.
Arthur Richardson, chief executive for the Manufacturing Advisory Service in the South West (MAS-SW), said: “We welcome the Government’s announcement to provide further funding to the Manufacturing Advisory Service for advanced manufacturing.
“It will enable us to drive best practice in this field and work with manufacturers in the region to exploit new technologies, processes and capabilities, ultimately enabling manufacturers in the south west to increase their strategic capabilities and competitiveness.”
