Cornish clothing brand Seasalt has launched its resale platform with Reskinned, the sustainable ‘pre-loved’ clothing repair and resale specialist.

The resale platform will enable Seasalt customers to buy pre-loved and repaired Seasalt clothing that has been taken back from customers to be ‘rehomed’, avoiding them being sent to landfill.

Seasalt’s takeback service launched in February and over 2,000 items have been received in the first six weeks – making Seasalt the 12th most requested brand for resale.

CEO Paul Hayes said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the incredible response from customers getting involved in the takeback initiative and are delighted to be able to launch the resale service so quickly.

“It’s so important to us, as a business, to do what we can to encourage circularity in our industry and the success to date is testimony to the quality of our Seasalt product.”

Seasalt pre-loved pieces will be ready to shop from Sunday (Apr 2).
