A businesswoman from Cornwall has been recognised in a national business competition.
Terrye Teverson, who has run KCS Trade Print in Launceston for almost 30 years, was one of six finalists in the annual Woman of the Year Luncheon and Awards held in Birmingham, which celebrate outstanding achievements of businesswomen across the UK.
She was the first ever finalist from the south west in the awards’ 33-year history and joined women from publishing, communications, design, engineering and zoology.
Teverson said: “It was great to be recognised in a national competition and to be among such talented women from a variety of industries.
“Although I didn’t come away the outright winner I was delighted to have been among such distinguished company.”
KCS Trade Print employs 29 staff and has an annual turnover of £3 million. The business manufactures business forms with integrated labels and membership cards.
