Nationwide wins PrintWeek Award

A Cornish family business picked up a prestigious national award recently, as the print industry recognised excellence and innovation at the annual PrintWeek Awards.

St Austell-based, Nationwide Print came out on top against tough competition in the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) category, which was open to the thousands of UK print companies who have sales of less than £6.5 million or fewer than 50 staff.

Julian Hocking, owner and MD of Nationwide Print, spoke of his elation on accepting the award, which was presented by comedian Jimmy Carr, on behalf of his team, who he described as “the company’s biggest asset”.

He added: “To receive an award such as this from our peers within the industry is cause for great celebration. We’re only a small team and it’s a vindication of years of everyone’s hard work.”

There will be a special profile on Nationwide Print and its success at the PrintWeek Awards in the Dec/Jan issue of Business Cornwall magazine.
