Pasquill, one of the UK’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of engineered timber, is reporting strong trading at its two of its newest sites: two truss plants in Taunton and Bodmin.

Taunton is already 20% ahead of its targets, while Bodmin is trading at 50% of expected levels just three months after its opening.

“The success of these sites is due to the quality of the service and products we provide along with the calibre of our local employees,” said Stuart McKill, managing director of Pasquill. “Our investment in these plants has enabled us to expand our UK branch network and enhance our manufacturing capabilities. Clearly it has also given merchants in the south and south west much needed access to high quality engineered timber products and expertise. We are now looking to expand the workforce to cope with increasing demand.”

Pasquill offers a comprehensive range of engineered timber products at both Taunton and Bodmin, including roof trusses, I-joists and roof and floor cassettes. It also gives contractors and merchants local access to design expertise.

Pasquill is part of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution’s Timber Group.
