A Cornish firm has been ranked as one of the fastest growing companies in the UK healthcare consultants industry.
Pool Innovation Centre-based TRAC Services was listed as the 21st fastest growing company in terms of sales growth for 2011.
The latest edition of the UK Healthcare Consultants Industry report provides business intelligence on the top 209 companies in the market measuring their commercial and financial strength.
For the financial year ending September 30, regulatory affairs specialist TRAC reported 39% growth in turnover and is on target for similar growth in 2012.
Company director Sarah Trethowan commented: “It’s been a fantastic year for TRAC; the results have been very rewarding to see. We have a robust marketing strategy in place that should continue to deliver strong results over the next three years.”
On average companies in the UK Healthcare Consultants Industry reported a 2.4% increase in turnover in the past year. However this hides great variations within the industry with nearly half of the 209 companies recording an average fall in sales of 26% and over half recording an average increase of 18%.
TRAC is ranked 106th in terms of sales in the first 2012 edition of the report released this month, moving from 139th in 2011.
