A leading UK telecoms and photocopier solutions company based in Truro is predicting its best year ever, as it enters its fourth decade as a leading employer in the city.

Datasharp has its head office in Truro Business Park and supports a growing network of regional offices across the UK.

And it is poised for expansion with new products and services that are expected to deliver the company’s most successful financial year to date.

This includes its Optimum Connect superfast broadband package, which provides fibre-optic and high-speed Ethernet first-mile technology to give clients the fastest and most reliable telephone and internet connectivity.

Operations director Jane Cockcroft said: “It’s a very exciting time to be in the industry and staff morale at Datasharp has never been so good.

“The whole Datasharp team is highly motivated and enthusiastic about the direction the company is taking which is clearly reflected in the exceptional level of customer service we provide. It’s great to be starting 2011 on such a high.”

CEO Paul McIntosh added: “Datasharp has shown that it’s not all doom and gloom in business and that we – and Cornwall – have a great deal in the future to be excited about.

“We believe there are exciting times ahead and even in this challenging economic climate we are forecast to have our best financial year yet.”
