Pendennis Shipyard and Cornwall College have joined forces to lead the way on marine training in the south west after acquiring the Falmouth Marine Skills Centre.
Pendennis Shipyard and Cornwall College were successful in their bid for the lease of the Falmouth Marine Skills Centre from the South West Regional Development Agency.
The Falmouth Marine Skills Centre will run a host of marine courses for the joint venture which will include superyacht crew training, paint and surface finishing and marine engineering courses and apprenticeships.
Also available on site is Health Works South West, an injury and fitness rehabilitation unit and a fully equipped gym assisting people back into the workplace.
