Truro-based law firm Murrell Ashworth has appointed a new associate solicitor.
Jane Palmer has joined the Legal 500 firm from Howes Percival in Norwich, where she specialised in commercial litigation and company commercial work.
Partner Hugh Murrell said: “We created this firm with the aim of bringing a fresh approach to the Westcountry’s legal services and Jane, with her background and all her enthusiasm is a very welcome addition to our team.”
Palmer said: “I feel privileged to be working in such a beautiful county where things are really happening. Even the economic downturn doesn’t seem to have dampened the general optimism and I am really looking forward to helping people move their various enterprises forward.”
Murrell Ashworth currently acts for more than 160 companies in Cornwall and beyond and was recognised in last year’s Legal 500 for its expertise in corporate work. The firm expects to have its renewables area of expertise recognised in this year’s guide.
