Cornish online marketplace lifeandhome.co.uk is teaming with organic skincare company Spiezia Organics to promote local enterprise.

Life & Home was launched last year and specialises in offering an array of gifts from various different sellers.

Founder Rosie Cook said: “We’re especially keen to promote the amazing brands found right here in Cornwall, so we are delighted to be working with Spiezia and showcasing their 100% Organic Made for Life range.”

Spiezia director Amanda Barlow, who also runs the Budock Vean Hotel with husband Martin Barlow, added: “We are looking forward to working closely with Life & Home and are planning some joint promotions in the future.”

Meanwhile, Spiezia, which is based in St Martin near Helston, is looking to streamline production to support further growth into overseas markets.

Last October the company took on a graduate, Henry Jasper, through the Unlocking Cornish Potential (UCP) scheme to investigate possibilities as production co-ordinator.

Sally Read, who runs Spiezia with Amanda Barlow, said: “We knew Henry would excel in his new role with us; however he has surpassed our expectations by not only embracing his new role, but also the Spiezia brand and philosophy.

“The appointment of Henry through UCP means that we can continue to grow the ‘Made for Life’ philosophy through a more streamlined production of our products and hopefully in the long-term, internationally.”
