Food festival programme finanlised

The organisers of Truro Food Festival have released the full programme for the five-day extravaganza next week, featuring chef demos, live music, and after-party events.

Among the big-name chefs are Charlie Walters, Andrew Tuck, Charlotte Vincent, Paul Ainsworth, and Ben Tunnicliffe.

The first chefs to make an appearance on Wednesday September 25 will be Jasmine Sharma and Ben Martin, whose restaurant Daaku is considered one of the best places to eat authentic Indian dishes in the south west.

Jude Kereama will bring the festival to a close on Sunday afternoon, demonstrating his Asian-Pacific influences and love for Cornish ingredients.

In between, the region’s food heroes will take festivalgoers on a whistle-stop tour of Middle Eastern cuisine (Kate Attlee) and Aussie-style barbecues (Adam Kesakoff), heart-warming Italian cooking (Ugo Massabo) and artful patisserie (Athina Selina).
