Event: What makes a great workplace?

The University of Exeter’s Evolve Futures project is hosting a special event this month, exploring the concept of what makes a great workplace.

Inspired by Business Cornwall’s Best Places to Work programme, the roundtable debate will showcase some of the leading Cornish companies that have excelled in implementing outstanding workplace practices, and who we are proud to have with us to share their valuable insights and experiences.

Led by Dr Harry Pitts, the event is a great opportunity to engage with top business leaders and explore diverse approaches to integrating ethical and effective work principles into your business framework.

Speakers will include Jane Abraham, who previously worked as a policy fellow for the Government’s joint work and health unit’s employers team and Ally Glover from Happy Business, as well as three of the businesses that appeared in Business Cornwall’s Best Places to Work 2024 listing – Hiyield, Naked Solar and Cornwall Marine Network.

‘Exploring the Concept of Good Work in Cornwall and What Makes a Great Workplace’ will be held at Tremough Innovation Centre on June 26. For full details and to secure your ticket, click here.
