Unlocking Potential’s next Future Focus event will show business leaders how to ‘think, work and play like a Futurist’.

The ‘Navigate the Future’ event on June 23 will feature keynote speaker, Anne-Lise Kjaer, the renowned futurist and author who has been helping businesses worldwide to for nearly 30 years.

Her foresight is built upon a holistic framework to “balance people, planet, and purpose with Performance”. The 4P vision guides all her work with clients including IKEA, Amazon, BBC, BMW, KPMG, Dell and UNICEF.

Kjaer has built an international reputation as an inspirational speaker, regularly speaking at TEDx, the Economist and lectures at Cambridge University, London School of Economics and MIT. In 2015 she was one of seven top futurists the Huffington Post featured with their predictions for the next decade in technology.

She said: “When businesses and people ‘dream big’ and imagine the future together, all stakeholders benefit from a common outlook and understanding of how to be real changemakers. Multi-stakeholder engagement is crucial to good governance and informed action. Leading up to 2030 – doing the right thing’ means working together for the greater good of all.”

The day also promises lightning talks from local businesses including Ultramed, Bobbi Beck and KCS who’ve maximised the opportunities offered by changing trends, as well as the chance to connect with new and old contacts.

Navigate the Future takes place on Thursday June 23 at FibreHub in Pool. Lunch is provided and virtual tickets are also available. The event is fully funded by the ERDF and is designed for businesses with a £250k+ turnover.
