Details have been announced for this year’s Fowey Food Week.

The week-long event (March 12-19), offers diners the chance to ‘eat your way around the world without leaving Fowey’ with cafés, restaurants and pubs and our local butcher/deli offering at least one special dish from their chosen country for £5 or £10 per head.

The first Fowey Food Week in 2019 saw an average increase in takings of over 40% across the week, including pubs in Polruan and Bodinnick.

Diners receive a printed ‘passport’ with map and collect stamps at each visit. All passports with more than three stamps enter a raffle.

Visitors can take advantage of free parking after 6pm at Fowey’s Main, Caffa Mill and Albert Quay car parks plus 24-hour free parking at Readymoney.

Fowey Chamber of Commerce CIC interim chair, Lucy Daniel, said: “I’m delighted that this event can go ahead again in 2022, after difficult times for our hospitality venues. Businesses and individuals are being generous with Grand Draw prizes to make it a fun event for locals and visitors alike.”
