Businesses from across Cornwall are being invited to a special event as part of this year’s National Apprenticeship Week.

CCB Training, part of The Cornwall College Group (TCCG), is hosting a free-to-attend networking event on Tuesday February 8 at Trevenson Restaurant on the Cornwall College Camborne campus.

Part of National Apprenticeship Week (Feb 7-13); the event highlights the impact apprenticeships can have on communities, local businesses, and regional economies and how they all benefit from apprenticeships.

“It’s such an inspiring week and this event will be a huge benefit for Cornish businesses,” said Lorna Martin, head of apprenticeships and business engagement at CCB Training.

“National apprenticeship week highlights not only the impact apprenticeships have on businesses, but it helps to build future careers and supports job creation.”

Attendees at the event will gain apprenticeship insights from guest speakers including Kim Conchie from Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and Rob Kellow from RG Kellow. There will also be insights into CCB Training’s Apprenticeship Development fund, part of the Business Cluster Project, Skills for Cornwall.
