The Red Arrows will be appearing during next month’s Falmouth Week, it has been confirmed.

Taking place on Wednesday August 11 at 6.15pm, the Red Arrows will be returning after a three-year absence.

Richard Gates, Falmouth town manager and Falmouth Week shoreside chairman, said: “It’s always a privilege to welcome the Red Arrows as part of Falmouth Week and we would like to thank Falmouth Town Council, Falmouth BID, Pendennis Shipyard, Vision Independent Financial Planning and Gylly Beach Café for sponsoring the display this year.

“With everything else we’ve been doing as a Town Team (Town Council and BID partnership) this year, we have also worked extremely hard to coordinate a full programme for Falmouth Week for our residents, businesses and visitors to enjoy.”

Falmouth Week 2021 takes place this year from August 6-15. Activities include Falmouth Week Carnival, a large 40-foot Victorian carousel on The Moor, the Action Sports Tour stunt bike display team on Church Street car park, an RNLI Fun Day at Custom House Quay, Comic and Movie Fest and Dragon Boat racing.

The week will also see a programme of well-known music and entertainment acts – from Craig Charles and Liberty-X to established comedian Russell Howard, thanks to ticketing partner Southwest Bars and Events.
