The Google Digital Garage returns to Cornwall this autumn, enabling businesses and individuals the opportunity to boost their skills for free.
In the last two years, over 200,000 people across the UK have benefitted from Google’s free face-to-face training on digital know-how.
Two Google courses will be available on the day at Cornwall Chamber’s Connected Cornwall conference at Healey’s Cyder Farm on November 14, where visitors can stay as little or as long as they like.
‘Build a Digital Marketing Plan’ gives small businesses an introduction to the main digital marketing channels and how to use them while the ‘Social Media Strategy’ session explores how to create a social media strategy based on your business goals.
Cornwall Chamber of Commerce chief executive, Kim Conchie said: “The Google Digital Garage visiting again is a great opportunity for residents to gain new skills and knowledge. It’s also a great benefit for local businesses to see how they can reach more customers and increase their business potential.”
