To celebrate its new contract to deliver UK Trade & Investment services in Cornwall, Cornwall Chamber of Commerce is inviting all exporters and those considering exporting, to a free export breakfast.
In July, Cornwall Chamber, in partnership with Business West, signed an agreement to deliver UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) services in Cornwall.
Companies now have easy access to experienced international trade advisers and UKTI programmes through the chamber’s office.
The new partnership will ensure that support is readily available for companies that are new to export, or are looking at new markets.
And to celebrate the roll out of the new agreement, Cornwall Chamber is hosting a special breakfast event at the Falmouth Hotel, on Friday, October 16.
The morning will include presentations from UKTI trade advisors and successful exporter, Roddas.
The Chamber’s export manager will also be on hand to answer questions about documentation – such as EUR1s, Certificates of Origin and ATRs.
Chamber chief executive, Kim Conchie, said: “We are really pleased to be working with Business West in the delivery of UKTI services in Cornwall.
“I urge companies in Cornwall to consider the potential to sell their services or products overseas. We are not just part of a national market, but a global market as well, and with the rapid development of digital sales and online platforms, as well as the rising demand for British goods in emerging markets, there has never been a better time to grow your business through export.”
