A series of launch events has been announced for the next round of European funding.
The €600 million Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Growth Programme follows on from the previous Objective One and Convergence programmes, and is due to run through to 2020.
It was originally scheduled to kick in last year, but was finally launched at last week’s Cornwall Expo event.
A series of community level events will take place across Cornwall during the autumn, where local businesses and the general public will have the opportunity to learn more about the Growth Programme and potential funding.
Councillor Julian German, member of the Integrated Territorial Investment (ITI) Board which is responsible for overseeing the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Growth Programme, said: “We want to ensure anybody with an interest in EU funding has the opportunity to learn more about the Growth Programme and has the chance to ask questions they might have.”
