The Bi-annual Masked Ball returns to Porthleven next month and is set to be another success. The event, which will take place on the weekend of May 2nd/3rd , will feature multiple arenas and individually themed micro-stages which will play host to decadent décor and purveyors of house, soul and funk genres.
This year’s line-up includes Bonobo, Andrew Weatherall, Norman Jay MBE, Simian Mobile Disco, Joey Negro, Nightmares on Wax and many other DJ’s across a dozen different venues.
Masked Ball director Kelvin Batt said: “We’ve gone to town with the added areas and there are some proper surprises in store. It’s an exciting time for everyone involved.
“The team and I are massively excited about this line up, and also about how the Sunday has evolved. It’s got the look and feel of a proper festival now – with the added extra of a proper dress up ball on the Saturday night.”
Tickets, which include camping on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and admission to the Ball itself on the Saturday and Sunday, are £60 from www.maskedball.net and selected outlets.
