“We’re proud of the business park and think it provides the perfect location for a range of organisations including both the public and private sector to host their meetings, training and conferences.

“We’ve got a dedicated team in place, who work hard to ensure guests have a great experience while they are here.

“We want to ensure the rooms, the facilities, the technology and the food are the best they can be.

“And the feedback we’ve had over the last year shows that we are meeting expectations.”

A survey to delegates found that 81% said the facilities were excellent, and 19% said the facilities were good.

Over 15 companies have held five or more events, highlighting a successful return bookings rate.

Mayman added: “While the last year has been very successful, we have plans and targets in place to grow this side of the business even more over the next year.

“We are about to invest in brand new AV and video conferencing equipment, which will enhance the customer experience and provide the opportunity to connect business in Cornwall with the rest of the UK and the world.

“We want to be the conference facility of choice for organisations from Penzance to Exeter.”

The majority of the bookings at the conference centre are for staff training, workshops, meetings and presentations. The business park has also starred as a backdrop in two Rosamunde Pilcher productions for German TV.
