Representatives from local businesses are invited to Hall for Cornwall this Friday (July 4) for a Cornish-themed networking event.
Delegates have a few more days left to secure their place on the next HFC Networks Club event; a free event which includes networking time, a presentation, and food and drink from local suppliers.
Despite landing on America’s Independence Day, this networking event will focus on Cornwall and the Cornish identity.
Jenefer Lowe of The Cornish Language Partnership will give a presentation entitled ‘Your Cornish USP’, focusing on how the Cornish language is used in business and the way in which things are heading as far as brand identity linked to the language is concerned.
Local company and corporate friend of Hall for Cornwall, Chaffins Country Range Foodservice, will be providing meat and veg pasties; there will also be Betty Stogs beer kindly donated by Skinners Brewery, as well as saffron buns from Rowes Cornish Bakers.
The event is free thanks to support from Carlton-Smith Private Wealth, but any donations made to Hall for Cornwall Trust on the day will be gratefully received.
The event runs from 3pm-5pm and will be held in Hall for Cornwall’s Assembly room, which is upstairs in the theatre.
