Landlords are being offered the opportunity to find out more about how to get free or subsidised energy efficiency measures for their properties at an event being held at Heartlands tomorrow (October 25).
The Cornwall Private Landlords Forum is being sponsored by Glow Cornwall, a new partnership between British Gas and Cornwall Council, which aims to provide up to £100 million to improve properties across the county.
The scheme could enable thousands of rented properties to benefit from free new boilers, insulation (discounts for solid wall properties) and other energy saving measures.
As part of the Government’s Energy Company Obligation (ECO) and Green Deal programmes, Glow Cornwall is targeted at helping reduce the amount of energy Cornish homes use and cutting fuel bills.
Those interested in attending the conference should register now by emailing here.
