There are just a few spaces left for Hall for Cornwall (HfC) Networks Club’s summer business networking event, which will take place two weeks today.
The business networking event has already attracted a wide range of different businesses and self-employed individuals wanting to make new contacts.
Delegates will be treated to summer strawberries and cream courtesy of Cornish Food Market and Kelly’s of Cornwall respectively, as well as a glass of crisp sparkling wine from St Austell Brewery.
Those wanting to improve their public speaking skills will find Richard Hainsworth’s presentation very useful. He will give delegates a taster of the ‘tricks of the trade’ he has picked up during his career in theatre and television, which he believes can be valuable in adding depth and confidence to each person’s ability as a speaker.
Then it’s time to see how it’s done, with a performance from Angela Stoner, winner of HfC’s 2013 Poetry Out Loud competition, who will perform three of her poems to entertain networkers.
The event will be held on July 19 in HfC’s Assembly room, 3pm – 5pm. The event is free to attend but booking is essential; to book or for more information email Katie Hill.
