A group of female independent financial advisers from Truro are planning a summer ball as part of an ongoing fundraising campaign.
The Women of Worldwide (WoW) team was set up by Worldwide Financial Planning’s Donna Hansen, Rebecca Bendle and Lynne Williams.
Launched in April 2012, the team is hosting a series of events to raise money for Cornwall Hospice Care (CHC).
The group’s black tie Sunshine Ball is taking place at the Penventon Park Hotel on Friday, June 21.
Donna Hansen, whose late mother was looked after by CHC at St Julia’s Hospice in Hayle, said: “We’ve held some fantastic events over the last year or so and had some amazing support from people and businesses.
“We wanted to hold a celebration event and thought the Sunshine Ball would be a great excuse for people to get dressed up, have a fantastic evening and help raise money for such a great cause.”
