Sue Hook, owner of Hayle-based Sapience HR, will be hosting a charity lunch for local businesswomen at the Rosewarne Manor next month to celebrate Oxfam’s Get Together for International Women’s Day.
Hook has collaborated with the Rosewarne chef to create a menu for the event (March 8), which highlights the food projects Oxfam are involved with around the world.
Alongside this, Lucy Jewson from Frugi will be talking about her experiences of working with women in India and has also donated a voucher for the charity auction.
Jo Hullin, from Oxfam, said: “I am really looking forward to this special fundraising lunch that Sue has organised. The aim of the ‘Get Together’ events are so that we can raise money and awareness of the work that Oxfam does in supporting women to claim their rights and make decisions that affect their lives.”
