Changes in pensions regulations will be on the agenda at a seminar organised by two Cornish companies.

Worldwide Financial Planning and Lorica Insurance Brokers will be hosting a seminar on pensions in Newquay on 22 November

Worldwide Financial Planning and Lorica Insurance Brokers will be hosting the event at the Glendorgal Hotel in Newquay on Thursday, November 22.

Running from 9.30am to 2.30pm, the presentations will focus on the impact and management of auto enrolment pensions; directors, officers and employment practices liability; and employee benefits.

Andrew Stallard, independent financial adviser at Worldwide who will be leading the session on auto-enrolment, said: “Pensions are not the most exciting topic but auto-enrolment is going to have a huge impact on both employers and employees so it is something that is important for people to understand.

“The plan is to make the event interesting, proactive, practical and engaging so that directors, senior managers and principles of firms have the tools to make the right decisions about key issues.

“The event will also provide the basis for a series of similar events going forward with Lorica and other partners.”

Worldwide, which has offices in Truro and Wadebridge, appointed Indian Queens based Lorica Insurance Brokers as its preferred partner for general insurance services in September.
