Pop-up restaurant veteran Carl Clarke will be bringing a taste of contemporary cookery to Padstow next month.
Together with Jack Stein, son of chef Rick Stein, the pair will deliver a seven-course tasting menu with wine at Rick Stein’s Café on December 9.
Clarke is famed for his fine dining and ‘trash food’ experience evenings and has recently launched his own restaurant in London, Disco Bistro.
Jack Stein is head chef of The Seafood Restaurant’s development kitchen, where new recipes and ingredients are tested for Rick and Jill’s restaurants.
The chefs have devised a modernist menu revolving around local ingredients including Cornish fish, pheasant and cheese.
