Sands Resort Hotel in Porth is holding a family open day next month.
From 10am-pm on Sunday September 9, visitors will be able to try such hotel activities as crazy golf, tennis, croquet, swimming, and adventure playground, all free of charge.
There will also be a raffle in aid of the Children’s Hospice South West and the Sands Resort’s chosen charity, the Ubombo Children’s Care Village in South Africa.
Other popular family attractions from Cornwall will provide additional entertainment such as a ‘show and tell’ by Newquay Zoo, circus skills by Cirque du Ciel, a Jewellery making workshop by Disco Beads and tennis coaching for children by the Heron Tennis Centre.
Parents can test the gym, get a mini spa treatment or a free wash & blow dry (which needs to be pre-booked) at the hotel’s spa or sit back and enjoy live music played by the local band DNA.
MD Nicholas Malcolm said: “Our open day is an opportunity for locals to see what is on offer whilst having a great day out and raising money for charities close to our hearts.”
