Food suppliers in the region are being given the opportunity to showcase and sell their produce at Duchy College’s Summer Food Festival.

The event, which will be held over the weekend of June 24/24 at the College’s Stoke Climsland campus, is building on the success of last year which drew more than 3,500 visitors.

Food festival co-ordinator Bertie Hancock said: “This is a fabulous opportunity for local suppliers to show what they have to offer in the heart of the Cornish countryside.

“2011 was our first year and what a success that was. This year we’re aiming to make it even better and to do that we need the very best of regional food producers to attract locals and visitors alike.”

The festival will also coincide with Duchy College’s annual open days.
