Organisers of next week’s Cornwall Business Fair are expecting their largest event yet.
Stand space for the event, which forms an important part of Cornwall Business Week, was sold out some time ago with enquiries still coming in.
Cornwall Chamber chief executive Richard Glover believes that it is the combination of celebration and solidarity that makes such events successful.
He said: “Working in Cornwall is great and running a successful business here is a real achievement. However, as well as that sense of community, networks such as the Chamber provide a real business benefit too.”
Attendance to the event is open to all businesses, including those not part of a chamber, and Glover believes that all will get real value from coming to see what’s on offer.
“In changing times improved knowledge and greater connections bring real advantage” he explained. “The Business Fair aims to bring together companies across Cornwall to trade, to talk, to pass on shared knowledge and to strengthen the business community.
“You will see a major exhibition, a networking area with refreshments, advice on the local business scene and much, much more. We are certainly looking forward to a busy day.”
The Cornwall Business Fair takes place on Truro’s Lemon Quay, on May 18 from 10am-4pm. For a full list of events taking place during Cornwall Business Week, click here.
