Cornwall business owners being are invited to a seminar where they can learn how to successfully market and sell their business.
The business sales seminar is organised by Follett Stock in association with BCMS Corporate (BCMS), a world leader in the sale of private companies and who recently won the coveted Coutts Bank Family Business of the Year Award.
Mike Sweeting, head of partnering at BCMS, is the first representative of BCMS to give a presentation in Cornwall. BCMS will provide attendees with a step-by-step guide to their sale process which has proven to generate final offers 2.5 times higher than the initial lowest bid for a company. It will also cover a few of the common errors made, valuation methods used and the negotiation process.
Follett Stock will also deliver a brief overview of the legal process, including tips on how to minimise fees while also comprehensively safeguarding and furthering your interests.

The free event will be held at Follett Stock’s Truro office on July 14 from 6pm to 7.30pm. The presentations are scheduled for the first hour, with an open discussion forum for the last half an hour.
