Cornwall College Business (CCB) has £5million of new Convergence funding to support Cornish businesses develop talent in their organisation, and will be on-hand at the Royal Cornwall Show to help eligible businesses access this funding.

CCB advisors will be available on stand 342 throughout the show (June 4-6), to talk to companies about how training can support their growth and development, and make sure they get a share of the £5million available. Training can be tailored and bespoke to individual organisations, delivered where and when it’s needed, by experts in their field, with industry experience.

The CCB will team will also be asking ‘have you got the talent for the CCB corporate challenge?’ and asking show visitors to test their skills of concentration, co-ordination and nerve on the giant Buzz Wire challenge. At the end of the show, one competitor will be crowned champion and win prizes.

Dave Linnell OBE, principal of Cornwall College, said: “The funding that Cornwall College Business has available for local businesses provides a rare opportunity to develop skills and expertise. Training with CCB is proven to improve productivity, quality and staff motivation, and with funding available to support the cost, there is no better time to train.”
